At the London 2012 Olympic Deliverance Commission in London:

Male: So, is there a default PIN, do you know?

Female: Yes. It's 2112.

Male: Twenty One Twelve? Is that a joke?

Female: It's the IT department's idea of a joke.

Male: Right.

Female: It's when they think we'll be ready for the Games.

H. Rollins, Shed Reading (1984)

I am Rattus Norvegicus.

I’m sitting in some shit-hole rat’s nest and I’m a little angry.
I wanted to be a talk show host - not a rat.

And everyone
Wants to kill me,
Feed me drugs and poison,
Put electrodes in my head and make me run on treadmills;
Dissect, bisect, and defect me.
Bind, blind, maim and tame me.
Are you folks crazy?!?

You never invite me to your parties as if I would really wanna go anyhow.
Have you ever asked me to go to a movie?
How ‘bout bowling?

You ever seen a rat cry?
I got tears.
And I have a heart-and I got brains.
If you could just see past the fur,
I think that you would see
That I’m a lot like you.

Going Through Hell

It’s not the size of the dog in the fight
But the fight in the dog (attr. Mark Twain)
Let surprise take a slog
And if you get a knife from behind
Know you’re nice and in front
Do it, do it!

I wouldn’t say a word till I’ve walked a mile in your shoes
But once a mile from you
I’ll utter what the fuck I choose
Wearing nice new shoes
Do it, do it!

[Hook]
If you’re going through hell!
If you’re going through hell!
If you’re going through hell!
If you’re going through hell!
Keep going! (controversial; attr. Winston Churchill)

[Verse 2]
Fall down five times
Rise up six (japanese proverb: Nanakorobi yaoki Fall seven times and stand up eight)
Give the good news by way of fists
The mind plays tricks on the fighter who wishes
Kindness is right and both sides win
Push the limits of stubbornness to
Finish up above the stubbornness of silly limits
Run the ring around your finger
And build the ring around to bring it, bring it!

[Hook]
If you’re going through hell!
If you’re going through hell!
If you’re going through hell!
If you’re going through hell!
Keep going!

[Verse 3]
If you can’t join them, beat them! (reversal of a famous saying)
If you won’t ‘roid up, be friends!
The joy of the fight is the fight in the boy
I’m making this up now, finding a point
Is it if you can’t win, then run
The coming two fists is the fun of the thing
It’s all just lads, and the normal ambiance
Fall or stab and then call an ambulance

I can resist anything, but temptation (Oscar Wilde)
Lead me not into that place
I can find it myself (Rita Mae Brown)
I can resist anything, but temptation
Lead me not into that place
I can find it myself

Found it

Your hero is only ordinary
Is just a hero, a moment more than you and me
You have nothing to lose, but your chains (Marx, Engels - Communist Manifesto)
So it maybe might rain
And yeah, maybe slight pain
Or a day light slayin
Do it, do it!

At the end of the tunnel
There is always light (popular saying)

It just might be a train
Beefy!

CZCPPPVCTPRM-CNT/FAI. OF&VAI

Prietenul meu a murit.

- It's not black, it's African American.
- What is that all of a sudden, African American? The name keeps changing.
I can understand losing negro. But what's wrong with black?
- We're not all of the same colour.
- OK. I'm an Anglo-Saxon American. So, why can't you be a Nigerian American? Or a Ugandan American?
Why claim the whole continent?

Should I call myself a European American?
- You can call yourself anything you want.
- African American is too vague.Using then name of the entire continent, it's too general.

A guy from Antarctica. What does he call himself, an Antarctican American?

- First, no one from Antarctica was made a slave.
Second, the people of Antarctica didn't have their entire culture eradicated.
- What culture? They live on an ice cube!

I hate seeing someone get promoted because they're African American.
- I don't wanna be promoted because I'm an African American. I want the same chance as everyone else.
Because I work hard, do my job and because I am the best.

- You think people get things because they deserve them?
How many times have you watched the Oscars and said, "He's the Best Actor?" Or a killer, who you know deserves to fry, escapes the gas chamber because of some technicality.
Nothing's based on merit. The more you think you deserve, the less you get.
- If you actually believe that, how do you get out of bed every morning?
- One leg at a time.
