"A balanced programme on balance"

- Is there any sense in which if you're communicating Darwin's theory you should take any account at all of the fact that there are people - and they could be a majority - who believe that the world began 6.000 years ago and everything appeared as is? How do you deal with that?
- In the U.S. actually it is a majority. About 55% people disbelieve to some degree with the theory of evolution. As I said to my american publisher, I don't mind if it was 150.000.000 creationists burning my books as long as they buy them first.
